WRA's Partnership for Success Program

 

Selection Criteria

A successful candidate for the Wisconsin REALTORSŪ Association's Partnership for Success Program shall possess the following attributes and be willing to make the following commitments:

  • Membership in one or more of the following protected classes: race, color or national origin.
  • At least 18 years of age (minimum age required to obtain a real estate license).
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, hard-working self-starter.
  • Ability to sustain six to nine months "start up" time in the industry.
  • Flexible time schedule to allow for the demands of selling of real estate.
  • Pass the 72-hour pre-licensing exam and start working for the sponsoring broker once the license is received.
  • Committed to fulfill Program requirements:
    • Willingness to serve on recipient's Local Board Equal Opportunity Committee or willingness to serve at least a one-year term on the WRA Equal  Opportunity in Housing Committee sometime within the two-year period following the award.
  • Understands repayment obligation and agrees to repay funds expended on behalf of the recipient within three years of his or her selection.
