Wisconsin Appraiser License Education Requirements (Pre-license)

To obtain a Wisconsin Appraiser license, the Wisconsin DRL requires that you complete 150 hours of approved pre-license education, including 15 hours of USPAP, pass a state-administered exam, and accumulate 2,000 hours of experience. The WRA's Appraisal Prelicense course satisfies this education requirement and prepares you for the exam.

Wisconsin Appraiser License Renewal Education Requirements (Pre-license)

The Wisconsin DRL requires all appraiser licensees to complete 28 hours of continuing education during each two-year licensing period (biennium), 7 of these hours must be USPAP education, in order to renew your license. The WRA offers appraisal continuing education classes throughout the year and which are approved to help satisfy the DRL continuing education requirement.
