Start your appraisal career with the WRA! Appraisers estimate the value of a property, whether it’s a home, commercial property or a piece of land. The appraisal can occur during any part of the real estate process, such as when the property is developed, insured, mortgaged, taxed or sold.
Our Appraisal Pre-license course is your first step to becoming a licensed appraiser. The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) requires 150 hours of approved pre-license education, including 15 hours of USPAP, passing the state exam and accumulating 2,000 hours of experience to obtain a Wisconsin appraiser license. The WRA provides all the tools you need to get started on the road to your appraisal career!
