Commercial Real Estate Continuing Education
Tired of taking continuing education classes that focus on
residential issues only? Then, the WRA commercial CE courses are
exactly what you need. The WRA has created commercial-centric
courses specifically for those who practice in the commercial real
estate world.
If you are a commercial broker and would like to take a class that
applies to your practice, while still meeting the mandated
continuing education requirements, then sign up now for the WRA's
Commercial CE courses.
The
Wisconsin DRL requires all real
estate licensees to complete 12 hours of continuing education
during each two-year licensing period (biennium) in order to renew
your license. This is accomplished by completing four, 3-hour classes
included in the current biennium's curriculum and passing the
exams for each class. The WRA offers real estate
residential
and commercial
continuing education classes on a regular basis and these classes are approved and satisfy
the DRL continuing education requirement.
Below are the course descriptions:
Commercial Course 1: Discussion of the
commercial listing and business listing and how they affect your
commercial practice.
Commercial Course 2: A comprehensive review
of the Commercial WB-15 contingencies including: document review,
Phase I and II assessments, and environmental evaluation. As well
as conservation subdivisions and 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges.
Commercial Course 3: An in-depth look at
the 2008 WB-36 Buyer Agency/Tenant Representation Agreement. Also
includes agency law, environmental issues, case law updates, and
condominium law.
Commercial Course 4C: This course meets the
Department of Regulation and Licensing (DRL) license requirements
and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)
quadrennial ethics requirement. Course 4C also contains the DRL
complaint process, mediation versus arbitration, Fair Housing law,
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and licensee disclosure
obligations.
Currently all four courses are
available in a Live classroom setting as well as in the most convenient distance learning format - On
Demand. Distance Learning On Demand gives you the autonomy
to take courses on your schedule – at your own pace – anytime –
anywhere. Using a Web browser, watch "On-Demand" education
from the comfort of your own home, office or wherever there is a
broadband connection.
