General Questions
| Q. Do I need to complete
the CE requirement to renew my real estate license? |
|
A. The Department of Regulation and
Licensing shall withhold issuance of the renewal
license until they have received a completed
application with the appropriate fee. The
licensee may not engage in the practice of real
estate until having submitted such evidence and
having received the license. A person who received
an original broker's or salesperson's license during
the two-year licensing period and who was not
licensed to practice as either a broker or
salesperson on the first day of the biennium is not
required to satisfy the continuing education
requirement during this two-year licensure period.
All other licensees are required to complete the
continuing
education requirement. |
