Join us for the WRA's 2009 Annual Convention Golf Scramble at Wild Rock Golf Club. The Rock is a stunningly unique championship golf course that blends three different landscapes into a challenging and breathtaking round of golf. From its woodland area with a beautiful natural stream to the Dells’ famous sandstone ridges combined with the rocky mounds of a former quarry, this course is so unlike any other, it is sure to be the talk of golf enthusiasts.
GPS System
Every club car at Wild Rock Golf Club is equipped with a state-of-the-art GPS system which allows players to:
- Continuously trace their distance to the pin
- Receive pro tips for tricky shots
- Input their scores electronically
- Keep pace of others scores in tournament play
- See other carts on the course
- Every cart equipped with a CBS sports ticker to keep you informed of today's
sports scores
- Receive weather warnings.
A putting contest will be held at 9:00 am followed by a shotgun start
at 10:00 am. Be sure to be in your GPS equiped cart ready to start at 9:45
am. If you have a request to play with a partner or a four-some, e-mail us with the full names for your request.
Your $95 fee includes 18 holes of golf (scramble starting at 10:00 am),
1/2 powered golf cart with full GPS, coffee/rolls and two drink tickets
for the beer cart. In addition, scramble, hole and door prizes will be
given out and beer and snacks will be served at the awards party
following golf.

  There’s plenty of fun in store for you at the Icebreaker - Wednesday Night Fever! There is a costume competition, so don your best disco dress or John Travolta costume to win prizes for the Best Female
Disco Dress, Best Male John Travolta, or Best Disco Group.
The band for this fantastic event is VO5. VO5 has been playing packed houses and festivals for five years including the Wisconsin Film Festival, the Wisconsin Union Terrace, Saturday Night Fever Brew & View at the Majestic and a Barack Obama Fundraiser. VO5 believes in peace and justice and the American way especially if it involves platform heels and lots of glitter ... and that dancing should be an essential part of everyone's revolution.
