Wisconsin Appraiser Pre-license Education

To obtain a Wisconsin Appraiser license, the Wisconsin DRL requires that you complete 90 hours of approved pre-license education, including 15 hours of USPAP, pass a state-administered exam, and accumulate 2,000 hours of experience. The WRA's Appraisal Prelicense course satisfies this education requirement and prepares you for the exam.

The Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing has made changes to the education requirements for appraisers.

Changes in appraiser education requirements effective January 2008.

The WRA's Appraiser Pre-license distance learning option is administered by Thomson CompuTaught. To register, select the Distance Learning Option below. A new browser window will open where you will be able to select the Appraisal Pre-license course. After you have paid, you will be able to continue on to the log in process. View a free demo.

If you are an existing Appraisal Pre-license student, you may log in here. For technical questions, visit Technical Support.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact our Business Services department at educate@wra.org or 800-279-1972.
