Wisconsin Appraiser Pre-license Education
To obtain a Wisconsin Appraiser license, the Wisconsin DRL
requires that you complete 150 hours of approved pre-license
education, including 15 hours of USPAP, pass a state-administered
exam, and accumulate 2,000 hours of experience. The WRA's
Appraisal Prelicense course satisfies this education
requirement and prepares you for the exam.
The Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing has made
changes to the education requirements for appraisers.
Changes in appraiser education requirements effective January
2008.
