Distance Learning Option


 

General Questions

Q. What type of material does the Real Estate Broker Pre-license course cover and what methods are available for me to complete them?

A. Course content includes: contracts, approved forms, trust accounts, escrow and closing statements, business management and marketing, financial and office management, personnel business ethics, consumer protection, and specialty areas.

Live Course

Our broker Pre-license program is offered in a 4-day format in Madison and Milwaukee. Taught by the best instructors in the industry, students enjoy the benefits of live instruction in an informal classroom setting.

Self-Study Internet Course

This is another convenient self-study option. Internet instruction allows you to study from anywhere you have a computer, at any time that is convenient for you. You will receive the texts and instructions for accessing interactive material online. The course is made up of 11 chapters which can be completed in the comfort of your home. Test your knowledge with online quizzes and a mock exam before sitting for the state exam.

This self-study option is the ultimate in convenience. A set of tapes will be sent to you with the required texts and instructions. The course is made up of 11 chapters, which can be completed in the comfort of your home.

Q. How can I prepare myself to take the State of Wisconsin License exam? 

A. In addition to completing the education requirements students not already enrolled in a WRA Broker Prelicense Course can purchase access to a 100 questions simulated exam to help you learn the hundreds of terms used in real estate.

Q. What if I fail the state exam, do I need to complete the course again? 

A. If you have completed our Pre-license course and failed the licensing exam, you may retake any portion of the course within one year of first completing the course, at no charge.

 

Distance Learning

Q. What is the distance learning option for Broker Prelicense?

A. A self study video course consisting of 10 videos (VHS or DVD) to be viewed at your convenience. The video course meets the 36-hour broker education requirements and must be completed prior to taking the exam.

A self-study internet course. This option provides you with a comprehensive course book supported by video reviews of the material. The course is made up of 11 chapters which can be completed in the comfort of your home. Test your knowledge with online quizzes and a mock exam before sitting for your licensing exam.

Q. What are the equipment requirements for the Internet Distance Learning option?

  • Computer with broadband connection such as cable, DSL, T1 or ISDN
  • Adobe Acrobat version 6.0 or newer
  • Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher, or Quicktime 6.0 or higher
