Protect property taxpayers
- Resist state tax and spending policies that will result in higher local property taxes, particularly changes in state school aids and shared revenues. Also oppose changes that allow non-uniform taxation of property beyond current constitutional provisions.
K-12 funding - Participate in reforming school financing in a manner that balances educational excellence with taxpayers' ability to pay
Encourage growth - Promote state and local tax policies that build strong communities and encourage growth by opposing anti-development impact fees, creation of municipal "tax islands," and sales tax on goods and services currently exempt and by supporting good land use planning, job growth and investments in meaningful economic development.
