Below is a summary of the adjourned 1999-2000 legislative session. In all, nearly 1,500 separate pieces of legislation were introduced this session. The WRA reviewed all bills and monitored/lobbied on nearly 170 separate pieces of legislation (64 of 521 Senate bills and 102 of 958 Assembly bills). Here are the highlights of legislation that passed this session.
