REALTORS® Endorse Walker for Governor

MADISON, WI – Wisconsin is at a historic crossroads. Our next governor must chart a new course for sustained economic and job growth which will support robust housing, commercial and rural real estate markets, and produce a higher quality of life for this and future generations. We believe Scott Walker is the best candidate to realize this new future.
REALTORS® have long enjoyed and valued a close relationship with both Tom Barrett and Scott Walker - in their legislative and executive roles in state, federal and local governments. However, based on their past performance and future vision on issues important to homeowners, property owners and REALTORS®, Scott Walker is the better choice for governor.
While our next governor has no choice but to focus on a stalled economy and chronic state budget deficits, he has many choices on how to do so. New spending cuts will be necessary in the short term, but new spending priorities will be essential in the long term. Scott Walker understands that inspired spending and tax reforms must be equal priorities to required spending and tax cuts.
Successful managers know “how” to solve problems, but successful leaders know “what” problems to solve. At this important juncture in Wisconsin’s history, we need a governor who knows how to do both. We need Scott Walker.
