2012 Rental Contract Addenda

Recent legislative changes necessitate the modification of the WRA rental agreement forms. The new law is available at docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/2011/related/acts/143.pdf. Consult legal counsel with questions about the changes to the law and its impact on the use of specific rental forms.

Please use the following addenda for any new rental agreements/leases entered into or renewed on or after March 31, 2012, using the WRA Residential Rental Contract (WRA-RRC) or the WRA Residential Lease (WRA-NRL):

Wisconsin Property Management

A real estate license is required to provide brokerage services, which include the promotion of real estate rental or leasing as well as lease negotiation and drafting. Brokers must have proper agency authority (typically a WB-37 Exclusive Listing Contract for Lease of Real Property or the WRA Property Management Agreement) to provide property management services.
