Wisconsin Fair Housing Network

The WISCONSIN FAIR HOUSING NETWORK is a coalition of representatives of public and private organizations and agencies (including the WRA) dedicated to fair housing education and the promotion of equal housing opportunity throughout the State of Wisconsin. For information about joining the Wisconsin Fair Housing Network, contact: Carole Jones, Milwaukee County, Housing & Community Development Division, telephone, 414/278-5251 or e-mail cjones@milwcnty.com.

Children's Fair Housing Poster & Essay Contest
Each year the Wisconsin Fair Housing Network sponsors a Fair Housing Poster and Essay Contest for children in grades K-12, including special education. A school, local unit of government, neighborhood organization or other community group may sponsor a Fair Housing Poster and/or Essay Contest at the local level and then submit the top winning entries to the statewide competition. Winners of the State Fair Housing Contest receive framed certificates and other awards at a special ceremony held at the State Capitol in June, and the posters and essays may be included in displays, calendars or publications to promote fair housing throughout the year.
