Addendum E - E-Documents - Signatures & Delivery

This addendum is used to address contract requirements for use of electronic documents in real estate transactions. Complete section 1 if you wish to modify an offer to purchase or other form to allow for delivery by electronic means. Complete section 2 if an electronic document you are using does not permit signatures on the form itself, e.g. Adobe Acrobat "PDF" files. Section 2 will, if incorporated as part of the electronic document, allow you to sign the document by typing your name on the signature line or otherwise attaching your signature to this addendum.

Section 1 and/or Section 2 are part of this addendum if the section is completed and signed by all Parties.

1. ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT DELIVERY
The undersigned parties agree that the delivery standards set forth in the Form are supplemented to allow delivery of electronic copies of the Form in full satisfaction of any requirement to deliver "written" documents. If this transaction is subject to federal consumer disclosure requirements, each Party has previously consented to the use of electronic documents in the transaction.

II. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES (Not required if the Parties are able to electronically sign the Form).
The Parties have agreed to use an electronic version of the "Form" described above. The electronic version of the "Form" being used cannot be signed electronically except by use of this addendum. This addendum provides the Parties with an opportunity to sign by typing their name in the space provided. By incorporating this addendum into the "Form" the signatures of the Parties below are incorporated into the "Form" as if the "Form" itself was signed. Please review the entire contract but particularly the language of the "Form" related to signatures.
