BECOME  A  REALTORŪ
Updated on July 29, 2008
Many people are interested in a real estate career because they want a flexible work schedule and the unlimited earning potential that sales positions can offer.

All Wisconsin real estate professionals are licensed by the state. To get your real estate license, you must first complete the required education and pass the licensing examination.

A real estate agent is a REALTORŪ when he or she becomes a member of the REALTORŪ Association. REALTORŪ Membership is available to Wisconsin licensed real estate brokers and salespersons, as well as licensed or certified appraisers. Visit our New Member Resource page to find out how valuable wra.org can be as you start your real estate career.

The term REALTORŪ is a trademarked term denoting membership in the National Association of REALTORSŪ and who subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics; not a generic term.

Membership in WRA also includes a large contingent of Affiliate members, whose businesses have interests in real estate and who are supportive of the Association and its REALTORŪ members.
