Wisconsin Reciprocity Pre-License
All salesperson applicants holding active
sales licenses in another state other than Illinois or Indiana
for the last two (2) years may take a reduced-length approved
program before they take the state exam. The sales reciprocity course is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing. The state exam is
administered by Pearson VUE. A copy of their out-of-state license
must be submitted with the Wisconsin license application.
A Broker licensed in another state other than
Illinois or Indiana and applying for a Wisconsin reciprocal
broker license must have satisfied the salesperson education and
examination requirements or be licensed as a salesperson in
Wisconsin. If they have met these requirements, they need only
complete the broker three (3) hour education course and the
broker exam. The broker reciprocity course is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing. Those without the requisite sales person license
need to complete the 13-hour salesperson course. The Broker exam
is administered by Pearson VUE. A copy of their out-of-state
broker’s license must be submitted with the Wisconsin license
application.
