President Obama Signs Tax Credit Bill
President Obama has signed The Worker, Homeownership and Business Assistance Act of 2009 into law today. The law extends the present $8,000 tax credit through April 30, 2010 and expands it to include a $6,500 credit to current homeowners, provided they have lived in the home they are selling, or have sold, as the principal residence for five consecutive years during the past eight years.
