MADISON, WI – The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) is pleased to announce the installation of its new chairman, John Flor, on September 10, 2009 at its annual convention in the Wisconsin Dells. Succeeding immediate past Chairman Michael Mulleady of Coldwell Banker Mulleady in Minocqua, Flor assumes responsibility for the 2009-2010 fiscal year, beginning October 1, 2009.

Flor is the managing broker of Six Lakes Realty in Chetek. John is a life long native of Chetek and often says, “it is easy to sell what you love,” when he reflects on his real estate career. Upon graduating from the University of Minnesota, he was commissioned as an Officer in the U.S. Navy and served 10 years as a Naval Flight Officer in the EA-6B Prowler. After serving his tour of duty, he returned to Wisconsin and joined his parents at Six Lakes Realty.

John has been involved with REALTOR® organizations at
the local and state level since he began in real estate nine years ago. While holding the post of WRA Chairman-Elect in 2009, he concurrently served as President of the REALTORS® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin. He currently holds the ABR, CRS, GRI, and RRS designations, as well as the e-PRO certification. He is a specialist in waterfront and recreational properties and is regarded as a local expert on the lakes area in Chetek. Flor has been a member of the WRA Executive Committee since 2006, serving as treasurer, chairman-elect, and now chairman.
