Kevin King Named New WRA General Counsel

- The Wisconsin REALTORSŪ Association (WRA) is pleased to
announce the appointment of Kevin King as general counsel of the
organization effective September 1, 2006. "Kevin will begin
transitioning into the job immediately," according to WRA
President Bill Malkasian.
His duties as WRA general counsel will include visiting
brokerage offices, providing member outreach, and working
directly with the local association and MLS professional staffs.
Kevin will report to the association president and be directly
involved in real estate management issues both in Wisconsin and
the nation through his extensive involvement with the National
Association of REALTORSŪ.
Kevin has been the executive vice president of the REALTORSŪ
Association of South Central Wisconsin for the past 10 years and
prior to that was a staff attorney with the WRA for eight years.
He holds a BBA in real estate from the UW - Milwaukee and a JD
from Oklahoma City University Law School. He has 12 years of
real estate sales and brokerage experience.
Kevin's experience as a broker, a lawyer and an association
manager at both the state and local level makes him uniquely
qualified for this position.
