WRA Gives Chairman’s Citation Award to Rep. Scott Allen

Date: October 1, 2016

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) recently awarded the Chairman's Citation Award to Rep. Scott Allen at the WRA annual convention held in Wisconsin Dells last month.

Allen served in the U.S. Army Reserve after high school and earned his political science degree from UW-Milwaukee and dual masters in public administration and urban planning from UCLA. After working for the Los Angeles Metro, Allen relocated back to Wisconsin in 1993. Allen also began his real estate career in 1993. Over the course of his real estate career, Allen developed land, built condominiums and single-family homes, invested in real estate, owned a small real estate company and managed sales offices. Most recently, Allen led an 80-agent suburban Milwaukee office for a large real estate company. He is still an active REALTOR® and sales coach.

Allen was elected in 2014 as a representative to the Wisconsin State Assembly serving the 97th District, which covers the Waukesha, Genesee and Mukwonago areas.

The Chairman's Citation Award was established by the WRA in 1998. The purpose of the award is to provide recognition to individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the association or to the real estate industry.
