WRA Gives Lifetime Achievement Award to Terry N. Hilgenberg

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) recently awarded the WRA Lifetime Achievement Award to Terry N. Hilgenberg. Hilgenberg is a REALTOR® and broker associate of Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group in Green Bay, president of Hilgenberg Realty LLC and a partner In Hilgenberg & Associates Inc.


Hilgenberg became a licensed real estate broker in 1973 after graduating UW-Madison with a master's in real estate and a bachelor's in business administration in accounting.


Hilgenberg has been very active in real estate at the local, state and national levels, having served as the chairman of the WRA in 1988, being recognized as the State REALTOR® of the Year, now known as the WRA Distinguished Service Award. He also has been the regional vice president and sat on the executive committee of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and has served as the chairman of the board of trustees of the NAR's political action committee. He has held many positions with his local association, including past president.


As a second-generation REALTOR® and real estate professional, Hilgenberg and his brother and partner Phil have been involved in all aspects of real estate: residential, commercial, industrial, farm, recreation, development, investment real estate and auctions.


The WRA’s Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an extraordinary individual for a lifetime of meritorious achievements that have advanced and enriched the real estate profession in Wisconsin.
