WRA Gives Distinguished Service Award to K.C. Maurer

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) recently awarded the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) to association members and staff who have provided several years of leadership and distinguished service to the WRA.

Appleton-area REALTOR® K.C. Maurer was presented with the DSA at the WRA's annual convention in Wisconsin Dells last month. Maurer started his real estate career in the 1970s and became a broker in 1980. Maurer has since owned several real estate companies and is currently the broker/owner of RE/MAX 24/7 Real Estate located in Appleton.

Maurer has served in various leadership positions throughout the years, including former president of the Century 21 Great North Broker Council, member of the executive committee for RE/MAX North Central, president of the REALTORS® Association of Northeast Wisconsin, and chairman of the board for the WRA.

With a commitment to training and education, Maurer has authored several real estate sales and management training programs and has earned the CDPE, CRS, GBI and GRI designations.

The DSA was established in 1985 and provides recognition to REALTORS® or employees of the WRA who have dedicated many years of leadership and/or service to the WRA. Recipients must have at least five years of membership or employment and must demonstrate a high commitment to the association.
