WRA Releases New Member Video
Date: April 13, 2012
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) recently released its latest video, “WRA New Member Video” in April 2012, designed to promote awareness of the many advantages members receive with WRA membership.
Several Wisconsin REALTORS®, both sales agents and brokers from across the state, were integral to the making of the video by providing opinions and insights regarding how the WRA helps them succeed in real estate. Topics covered in the video include: education, legislative advocacy, WRA Legal Hotline, housing reports and statistics, publications, online courses, sales tools, real estate news, and association conferences and events.
“The video is a great summary of the many benefits and sales tools that are available to Wisconsin REALTORS® through membership," said Rob Uhrina, WRA VP of Marketing and Communications. “Whether they are a new member, an existing member or considering membership for the first time, it’s a great summary of what members get for their money."
The featured REALTORS® explained each benefit in detail, from relying on the WRA Legal Hotline, to using the electronic forms program zipForm, to the ability to network at WRA events. Each featured REALTOR®, in their own way, voiced how and why being a member of the WRA matters to them and their business.
Special thanks to the REALTORS® featured in the video: Pat Dollins with Premier Properties in Hartland, John Flor with Six Lakes Realty in Chetek, Sarah Hemker with Century 21 Affiliated in La Crosse, Scott Heyerdahl with Premier Properties in Hartland, Jim Imhoff with First Weber Group in Madison, Beth Jaworski with Shorewest Realtors in Elmbrook/Wauwatosa, WRA Chairman of the Board Rob Keefe, Dan Kruse with Century 21 Affiliated in Madison, and Dan Lee with First Weber Group in Madison.
The WRA aims to utilize the video in ways to encourage Wisconsin real estate licensees to become REALTOR® members. Local boards across the state will use the video in new licensee training. For current WRA REALTOR® members, the video will serve as a reminder of all available resources and benefits of membership, as not every member may be aware of all.
