Inside the WRA

Coronavirus Guidance

In response to the evolving circumstances surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, the WRA created a coronavirus resource webpage about how the pandemic affects real estate practice. Visit to stay alert of new developments.

Additionally, the WRA will email members and post on social media. Although email is usually thought of as instantaneous, this isn’t always the case. For real-time and up-to-the minute news, follow the WRA on social media using the social links on page 3.

Coronavirus Course Cancellations

Due to the evolving circumstances regarding the coronavirus and Gov. Evers’ “safer at home” executive order, the WRA canceled its live events, meetings and classes, as also closed its Madison headquarters building, until April 30.

The WRA education department, WRA Legal Hotline and WRA Tech Helpline are still serving members during normal business hours of Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please contact the WRA by phone or email with inquiries or questions.

Real Estate Deemed “Essential Business” Under Executive Order

In response to Gov. Tony Evers’ “safer at home” executive order, the WRA drafted a letter to all WRA members identifying their status as “essential business” under the order.

While this letter is not a legal document, it is intended to serve as a resource for you to carry with you in case your status is questioned.
