Digital information overload is a daily issue for most REALTORS¬ģ. Incoming leads, texts from clients, showing requests, emails from cooperating agents and colleagues ‚ÄĒ it all adds up and can account for a large portion of any agent's day. Add to that time spent staying up-to-date on industry news and local market trends, not to mention curating relevant content to share with your customers, and the vast sea of digital content can feel a bit overwhelming.

Feedly is a free app, available for iOS and Android, that aims to simplify the way you consume information online by gathering it all in one place for easy access. In one central location, you can keep up with your favorite blogs, YouTube channels, publications, Tweets, keyword updates and RSS feeds. Once you select the digital sources you want to follow, Feedly will automatically pull them in for you to peruse at your leisure ‚ÄĒ in a clean and simple format that is easy to read.

Once you've created your free Feedly account, you can:

  • Organize: no more spending hours surfing the web to find the news and information you want ‚ÄĒ have it waiting for you in a format that is easy to sift through.
  • Read: quickly absorb the information you need (and none of the distractions) with Feedly's minimalist format, optimized to increase productivity.
  • Search: explore the topics that you're most interested in by searching within your Feedly or a particular publication.
  • Read Later: never miss what's important to you. Tag and/or save articles so you can return to them when it's convenient.
  • Share: save yourself time and energy curating content and creating posts. Share directly to social media channels or via email right from the app. You can even use Hootsuite or Buffer to schedule your social media posting for later.

The free version of Feely includes up to 100 sources and three feeds. Upgrading to the Pro version, which is only about $5 per month, gets you unlimited sources and feeds, and also opens up several other great features, such as keyword alerts; integration with IFTTT, Zapier, Evernote, Pocket and OneNote; faster article downloads; ad-free user experience; premium support and much more.
