See the Potential with Kitchen Visualizer

Helping clients to see the potential in a fixer-upper or to imagine how they can update a home to make it their own is one of the biggest challenges REALTORS® face. Using an online visualization tool can often help bridge the gap between guessing what a space could be and knowing exactly how it will look. And, since the kitchen is often the most important room in a home to potential buyers, you want to make sure not to overlook this space when showing properties to buyers.

Colonial Marble & Granite, an industry fabricator and installer in Pennsylvania, has a very useful Kitchen Visualizer tool on its website. The tool works well on both desktop mobile devices. First, choose from one of several basic kitchen layouts; it will not be exactly the same as the kitchen your client is looking at, but similar enough to get an idea for design concepts.

Once you have the basic layout selected, you can start to customize the design elements such as countertops, backsplashes, cabinets, counter edges, flooring and appliances. The interface is extremely simple and straightforward without a lot of fancy tools you don't need at the beginning visualization stage. You don't need to be a designer. It's very easy to play around with different color and material combinations until you get the outcome you want.

With the Kitchen Visualizer, it only takes a few minutes to redesign an entire kitchen. That might just be the nudge your clients need to push them over the fence on a property they are considering. Imagine being able to show them on your phone or tablet while you are standing in the space how dramatically different the kitchen could look with just a few changes. You can also share the tool with your clients and ask them to design and share their ideal kitchen with you so that you can better serve them in your search to find their dream home.

The Kitchen Visualizer is free to use and does not require an online account. Visit to check it out today.
