The Real Estate Examining Board (REEB) has created a WB form for use when showing a property to a buyer in pre-agency. This new form, the WB-50 Residential Pre-Agency Showing Agreement, has an optional use date of May 15, 2025, and a mandatory use date of July 1, 2025.
The WRA created the WRA Pre-Agency Showing Agreement to give agents a tool to comply with the NAR settlement agreement. Now that some time has passed since those practice changes went into effect, the REEB decided to make its own pre-agency showing agreement, and that will take the place of the WRA’s Pre-Agency Showing Agreement or any other pre-agency showing agreement.
The WRA’s Pre-Agency Showing Agreement will be retired once the WB-50 Residential Pre-Agency Showing Agreement becomes mandatory on July 1, 2025.
